Places Near Denver to Visit in Your Alfa Romeo

At Mike Ward Alfa Romeo of South Denver in Highlands Ranch, CO, not only do we help provide you with sensational Alfa Romeo vehicles, but we also want to show you great springtime trips you can take in and around Denver. Visiting the great attractions and destinations all across Colorado behind the wheel of a new Alfa Romeo means cruising in style. Below are just some of our favorite destinations that we enjoy going to on our family trips. Ranging from young families to a day out with friends, the ride to any of the locations will be just as enjoyable as the destination thanks to the superb driving experience of a new Alfa Romeo.

Dinosaur Ridge –

Less than 30 miles away from downtown Denver, Dinosaur Ridge is a great choice for outdoor enthusiasts and fans of dinosaurs alike! Whether you guide yourself around the natural park or take one of the excellent guided tours, you can see plenty of dinosaur bones where they were discovered. Located in beautiful Morrison, the scenery around the Dinosaur Ridge landmark is a welcome choice for the adventurous family in the Denver Metro region.

Wild Animal Sanctuary –

This unique destination in Colorado is perfect if you want to see animals in their natural habitats, such as lions and other large mammals. The animals are also protected thanks to the efforts of the Sanctuary operators so that they can live happy and carefree lives. You and your family will appreciate seeing these large animals in a natural setting. If you have children who are interested in learning about lions or tigers and want a different experience than a traditional zoo, this is a great option!

Air Force Academy –

One of the three dedicated military colleges found across the United States, the Air Force Academy is located in the northern area of Colorado Springs. Tucked in close to the Rocky Mountains, the Academy is a beautiful destination if you are looking for a little bit longer day trip. At the Air Force Academy, you can visit the museum on-site, or visit the famous Cathedral with its beautiful architecture and stained glass. The gift shop connected to the museum also has many Air Force-related gift options if you have enthusiasts of the military branch or have someone you know who formerly served in the Air Force.
