What Paperwork Should You Bring to Purchase Your Vehicle?

Your Driver’s License & Proof of Auto Insurance – While pretty self-explanatory, your driver’s license does more than just prove you are legally able to drive your new vehicle. We need your license to verify important details such as your residence if you are planning on financing your Alfa Romeo. Make sure it is up-to-date before you stop in for your sales appointment. Additionally, we ask that you bring proof that you have auto insurance coverage before you can complete the sale. If you haven’t got any because you’re a first-time buyer or for some other reason, we advise finding a policy before coming in. 

Proof of Income & Social Security Number – This information is vital to our Finance Department staff to make sure you can confidently afford the vehicle you are looking to purchase when financing. If you don’t have a pay stub indicating proof of your income, we can work with other documentation such as a W-2 or another tax document. We will need to conduct a credit check as well if you are financing your Alfa Romeo, so we will need a copy of your SS Number to run your score. 

Do You Have a Trade-In?   If you will be trading in your vehicle, be sure to bring all pertinent documentation.  The title and registration are essential to the process.  Also, be sure to bring the vehicle’s owner manual and any maintenance records you would like to provide to potentially increase the vehicle’s trade-in value.
