Know What Paperwork to Bring When Shopping for an Alfa Romeo

What Documents Should You Bring to Your Vehicle Purchase?

• Driver’s License & Proof of Insurance – Before you visit us, make sure that you have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance with you when you arrive. We need these to prove that you can legally purchase and drive the Alfa Romeo you are looking to get behind the wheel of. Your license also helps with the financing process of the vehicle buying process.
• Payment Type – If you will be putting a down payment, make sure you have an approved method to make that payment with you. To expedite financing, please also make sure that you are ready to fill out paperwork by having your important personal documentation with you.
• Current Registration / Title – If you are trading in a vehicle, you will need a copy of your current registration. Locate this important document, verify that the registration is current, and also check that the sticker is on the license plate. You will need proof that you own it. The car title, sometimes called the pink slip, shows that you are the owner. Locate that document and see how the car is “titled” — meaning who legally owns it. If there is a co-signer or a lien against the title, get the required signature ahead of time.
